We last left Hermione with the discovery that Lenny Smith-Jones, one of her potential husbands, is rich. Sadly this means he is out of the running to be the Generation 1 spouse. So, now it’s up to Wei! With any luck, he won’t be rich as well and Hermione and he can tie the knot soon.
Ok Hermione, let’s see if Wei is rich. We’re at his house now. This is his roomate, Lang. Talk to him a bit to see if you can figure out how much money they have.
Hermione: Soooooo…. are you rich?
Subtle Hermione, real subtle.
Hermione: Oh Wei! Fancy meeting you here!
Wei: Well… I do live here.
Hermione: Oh, heh. Right.
Hermione is really trying to butter Wei and his roommates up. She made them all Autumn Salad for dinner. They seemed to like it.
Nothing like flirting with your potential boyfriend in his bathroom. How romantic.
However, it must have done something because Wei now finds Hermione irresistible. They are now going steady, aww.
Hermione: So, how about you show me to your bedroom.
Wei: Oh, are you sleepy?
*facepalm*
Wei: Because I sure am sleepy! I’m glad I showed you to my bed.
FOCUS WEI!
Hermione: Come here you!
Wei: *yawn*
Well, Hermione spent the night with Wei and the “Rich” icon is still no where to be seen, so it looks like we’re in the clear!
Ok, Hermione, do your thing!
Hermione: Oh Wei, I have been in love with you ever since the boss lady said you weren’t rich.
Wei: Huh?
Hermione: Er… I mean… I have loved you ever since meeting you in the gym that day.
Hermione: Will you marry me?
Wei: Omigosh, omigosh, omigosh, OMIGOSH!!!!!
Hermione: Soooo, is that a yes?
Wei: Omigosh, omigosh, omigosh, omi…
WEI!!!!!
Wei: Gah! Yes! Yes, I will marry you!
And as is typical for Generation 1 of a Legacy family. The marriage between Hermione and Wei is being held on Hermione’s front lawn. A butterfly was in attendance. Woo.
Wei brought in $2,000, which allowed us to build up the house a bit. He also brought a car with him, but rather than sell it and make Generation 1 too easy, I’m going to keep it so they have something to drive around in.
Later that night…
*sneak sneak sneak*
Really?

Oh come on! They barely have two simoleans to rub together and you’re going to rob them?!
Robber: Yes.
Thankfully Wei was able to pull himself together fast enough (after screaming like a 7 year old girl mind you) to call the police.
Yay! Go Mr Police Officer!
Apparently apprehending the fiendish burglar put these two in the mood for some Woohoo. Time to start working on Generation 2!
Queue the lullaby music! Hooray!
With a new baby on the way, I upgraded the house yet again. They couldn’t quite afford to put siding on the house. But otherwise it’s decorated.
And with that, I think we’ll bring Chapter 2 to a close. We’ll be focusing on Hermione’s pregnancy in the next chapter. See you then!

I do hope you don’t have to completely abandon a Sims 2 legacy you already got to Gen 5. Or is that definitely dead?
I’m thinking it’s definitely dead, but I’m not positive yet. I can’t seem to be able to log in anymore 🙁
