The Novella Movin’ On Up Story – Introduction

Uh oh. This chalk outline of a Sim body can only mean one thing. I’m starting a Movin’ On Up Challenge story! I started this challenge about 8 or 9 months ago, but never got around to finishing it. I had started a Let’s Play on my Youtube channel, but as most of you know, I have decided to focus more on this website than I have been on Youtube or Twitch (mostly thanks to ISP data issues). Mystic’s Sims 4 House Builds – Modern & Sleek

Lately I’ve been watching a lot of HGTV reruns on Hulu while I work on my crochet projects. You can get a lot of inspiration for house builds while watching shows like House Hunters or Property Brothers. Today’s house build, which I have called Modern & Sleek, is inspired in part by a house that I saw on House Hunters (the interior color scheme and style) and also by a floor plan that I saw on houseplans.com. Mystic’s Sims 4 House Builds – Rory’s Build Challenge for July 2017

Hello everyone! Rory has done it yet again with another great monthly build challenge! I really enjoyed building this one. It felt like a super cozy vacation home that your Sims could go to when they want to get away from the hustle and bustle of their usual lives. I’d certainly love to stay here for a couple of weeks and relax in front of that fire pit and read a book. That sounds heavenly.

Modern & Green Tiny House Tour

Hello everyone! I’ve been in a building mood in the Sims 4 lately. It’s definitely become one of my favorite aspects of the game given how user-friendly it is to build. I’ve also been fascinated by tiny houses and thought it would be fun to build one. I was inspired by a house that I found on houseplans.com and added my own spin to it.

I will say, this house is TINY. There is room for 1 MAYBE 2 Sims at most. However, it is still reasonably affordable at around §31,000 (so not a starter house, but close!). Now, onto the tour!

Mystic’s Sims 4 House Builds – Rory’s Build Challenge for June 2017

Hello everyone! It’s been a while since I’ve built a house in The Sims 4 so I decided to ease myself back into it by tackling the latest #RoryBuilds Challenge! I loved the layout of this cozy little beach house so I thought it would be a great challenge for me to do. I am always on the lookout for more build challenges to try (it seems I can’t play any aspect of the Sims without doing a challenge of some sort… I’m an addict!) so if you have any recommendations be sure to let me know in the comments below! Now, onto the house tour!

As you can see from the picture above, I tried to add a tropical feel to the exterior of the house by adding palm trees and plants that look like they’d be right at home on a Caribbean island somewhere. Continue reading →

The Leet Sims 4 Legacy Challenge #39 – What have I done?

Oh man. Mistakes were made when it came to ensuring that Rydia has four grandchildren to complete her lifetime aspiration. I now have three toddlers and an infant in the family. What have I done?!

Here’s to hoping I can survive this generation with my sanity more-or-less intact.

Wonder Child and Legacy Challenge Rules Updated for Toddlers & Vampires!

Hey everyone! Just a quick post to let you know that both the Legacy Challenge and the Wonder Child Challenge rules have been updated for Toddlers and vampires!

The Legacy Challenge hasn’t really changed much. You are welcome to make a vampire founder/heirs. Just bear in mind that since they are immortal you will need to figure out what to do with the older generations as the challenge progresses. Toddlers haven’t really changed anything in this challenge aside from adding an additional life stage to play.

As far as the Wonder Child is concerned toddlers added a bunch of new points and bonuses to earn so make sure you read over the rules carefully! You will NOT be able to use vampires in this challenge as that will eliminate the “time crunch” aspect of it.

The Random Trait Generator has been updated to include the new vampire aspirations (though if you decide you don’t want a vampire in your family or you don’t own the pack, you can simply re-roll). Toddlers also have their own Trait Generator for you to use as you need it!

The Sims 4 Vampires – Beginning a Vampire Legacy

Hey everyone! We were lucky enough to get an early access/review copy of the upcoming Sims 4 Vampires Pack from EA. I decided that rather than going through all of CAS and build/buy mode (which I know A LOT of other Youtubers can do much better than me) that I would start off a new Legacy Challenge with a Vampire Founder for an all-vampire Legacy Challenge.
