Spring-Themed House Tour

Hello everyone! It’s been a while since I posted a Sims 4 house build. I was actually inspired to start building again after watching Gitsie do some builds on her Twitch stream the other day. On top of that, I was also feeling the urge to see some flowers as I am getting awfully sick of winter and looking forward to spring, so I thought a spring-themed house build would be fun! This house is loaded with lots of flowers and spring colors. Click “continue reading” to see the full tour and get a link to the gallery page!

As you can see in the screenshot above, I decided to put a bit more work into the landscaping of this house than I have in my previous builds. I really wanted to try something new with it and I’m happy with how it came out. I actually scoured Pinterest for some landscaping ideas the other day and combined a few pins that I saw into what you see here.

Here is a view of the back yard. I really wanted to make sure that I added lots of flowers and greenery, to kind of make it feel almost like a sanctuary. I walled in the patio with bushes to give some privacy. You can even see some neighbors have already started enjoying the fountain that I placed!

Upon entering the house your Sims will be greeted with a simple, yet cozy entryway. They can sit with their guests on the loveseat and chat prior to going into the rest of the house.

The dining room is up next. A lot of this house’s interior is colored with blues and cool-toned colors. I just find them very soothing and they remind me a lot of a clear spring sky. There is seating for four around the table so that your Sims can have some guests over.

The kitchen is opposite the dining room and also boasts greens and cool tones that are common in spring. I tried to give as much counter space as possible for the smaller space here. Your Sims should have plenty of room to prepare meals here. There is also a double door that leads to the back yard.

The living room is the final room on this level (aside from a small powder room behind the staircase) and continues the blue/cool-toned theme. I also love that flower pot, though I can’t remember which pack it came with. Cats & Dogs maybe? Either way, the colors of those flowers are so vibrant that I thought it would make a lovely addition to the room.

The master suite makes up the entire top floor. Again lots of blue/cool tones as well as a cozy fireplace for those chilly spring nights. I also need to state how much I love those cherry blossom paintings. I kind of want to get something similar for my real life house. They’re so pretty! On the other side of the bed is a door the small outdoor deck. It’s a nice spot for your Sims to sit and read or have a drink after a long day at work.

And finally this is the master bathroom. For some reason I really like grey/white bathrooms, especially when the rest of the house is so full of color. It just looks so clean.

If you are curious which packs are needed for this house. I have listed them:

Cats & Dogs
City Living
Get Together
Parenthood
Vampires
Dine Out
Spa Day
Outdoor Retreat
Vintage Glamour
Romantic Garden Stuff
Movie Hangout Stuff
Cool Kitchen Stuff
Perfect Patio Stuff

I hope you all enjoyed the tour! You can download this house from the Sims 4 Gallery!
